Dr Isabela dos Anjos

Dr Bela is an Advanced Trainee in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She moved to Australia in 2012 after finishing her medical degree in Brazil at the prestigious Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. She successfully passed her AMC exams and worked in different areas at the Austin Hospital, Northern Health and Mercy Hospital for Women prior to starting her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Women’s health has always been her main interest in Medicine and since very early in her medical career Dr Bela has engaged in different activities in the field. In 2016 she volunteered in a Maternity in Tanzania- Africa. She completed her specialist exams in 2018 and 2019 and is currently undertaking her Masters in Reproductive Medicine (UNSW). 

Since 2021 she has been up skilling in minimally invasive surgery and is currently doing her RANZCOG/AGES accredited Fellowship training at AGORA Medical Education under A/Prof Alex Ades supervision.
